Parts must, for example, withstand hundreds of hours in corrosion chambers simulating real use.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Consistent appearance and compatibility: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Colours, textures, and gloss level must match seamlessly with other parts, even if supplied by different manufacturers. OEM standards therefore unify shades, surface textures, and gloss level.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Functionality and safety:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Certain coatings must ensure electrical conductivity, reduce friction, or dissipate static electricity.
