Metal components destined for the automotive industry must meet demanding standards for durability and longevity. One of the most critical factors is high-quality surface treatment. It must adhere perfectly and protect the material from corrosion, mechanical damage, and environmental influences. This is precisely the specialty of Automotive Painting Partners s.r.o. (APP).
We launched production at our current facility in Nymburk in 2014. Over time, we have built up manufacturing capacities both in Nymburk and at our second site in Police nad Metují, allowing us to handle large-scale serial orders as well as smaller volumes with individual requirements.
What we provide
We offer a range of surface treatments for metal components used in the automotive industry.
- Immersion KTL (cathodic dip) coating: This technique ensures even coverage on all sides of the part—including cavities, welds, and edges. The result is a corrosion-resistant coating that’s ready for further processing.
- Filler coating: Typically applied after KTL coating, the filler smooths the surface and prepares the part for the topcoat layer.
- Seam sealing: We smooth transitions between individual parts of the metal component using a special sealant. The result is a clean, uniform surface with no visible gaps or edges.
Everything from surface treatment to delivery of parts or subassemblies takes place in one location and follows a streamlined process. We supply components fully prepared for further processing or final assembly. For our customers, this means fewer supplier transfers, lower logistics costs, faster production flow, reduced error rates, and more flexibility when responding to design changes.
Quality under strict control
In the automotive industry, and in industrial manufacturing in general, surface treatment quality is under constant scrutiny. At APP, we focus on processes and technology refined down to the last detail. Every single part that leaves our production undergoes thorough inspection. To maintain this high standard over the long term, we have implemented a robust quality management system and hold the IATF 16949 certification.
Minimal environmental impact
We care about the environment, and we’ve built our production accordingly. Cathodic dip coating is a water-based technology that is among the more eco-friendly solutions in terms of emissions. We’ve set up the process to generate as little waste and emissions as possible.
We closely monitor the use of chemicals, water quality, and the volume of discharged substances. We report these regularly to the authorities and undergo inspections by the Czech Environmental Inspectorate. We meet strict limits for emissions, waste management, chemical handling, and noise levels. As a result, we keep our environmental impact fully under control and consistently maintain it at a minimum.
