From part sourcing to welding
At Automotive Painting Partners (APP), we take responsibility from the very beginning. We provide complete manufacturing of metal parts and components, including the sourcing of stamped parts. We prefer close cooperation with partners directly within our premises, resulting in zero logistics costs and no time losses between individual operations.
We offer a wide range of welding technologies supported by modern robotic and automation facilities. Welding and spot welding are performed using MAG/MIG methods, including the welding of highly alloyed galvanised materials. All processes take place directly at our sites – from individual operations to full project management.
Comprehensive surface treatment – KTL, filler and sealing
We provide complete surface treatment of metal parts. APP is one of the largest job coaters in the field of cathodic electrocoating in Europe and has been a reliable partner to leading global automotive manufacturers in the Czech Republic and abroad for more than 20 years. We operate two technologically identical KTL lines in Nymburk and Police nad Metují. Their 100% mutual interchangeability ensures production continuity even in the event of capacity fluctuations or unexpected outages.
KTL is applied using an immersion, indexed process that ensures uniform coating even in hard-to-reach areas. This layer is followed by additional processes:
- Filler coating to unify and smooth the surface,
- Fine sealing, creating smooth transitions between components.
Part completion and assembly
Because manufacturing and surface treatment are carried out “under one roof”, we also perform final part completion and assembly. The result is a finished assembly ready for immediate use in production. Quality is guaranteed through IATF 16949 certification.
All processes are built on a high level of automation and robotisation, minimising the human factor and ensuring stable, repeatable quality. In the development and optimisation of technologies, we work closely with EAP, which – like APP – is part of the Colegium Holding group.
Logistics, packaging and delivery to your door
The process is completed at our logistics centre in Zvěřínek. Parts from both production sites are consolidated, packaged, and shipped either via cross-docking or as direct deliveries to OEM partners. This minimises handling, accelerates material flow, and reduces the risk of damage. Each part is fully traceable from entry into production through to dispatch, resulting in lower logistics costs and greater flexibility.
